Beings Of The Himalayas - Mortal or Immortal?

A place near Kailash, a small kingdom hidden somewhere in the lap on Himalayas, known by different names like, Shangri-La, Siddhashram or Shambhala, mostly known as Gyanganj is considered "The land of Immortals."

The place has been mention in a lot of mythologies. Gyanganj is believed to be a place near Indo - Tibet border that has an influence over mankind in several clandestine ways.!

It is said that no one dies at this place and only top sages are able to find it. This kingdom is built in a way that keeps it hidden from the modern world.

The advocates of Gyanganj concept say that it is a holy realm that drafts the destiny of all and you can not access Gyanganj unless you have a ‘Karmic Connection’ with it.

It is described as a lotus. Enclosed with mountains and covered by snow there is a tree in the centre of the realm which unites Heaven, Earth and the underworld, it is known as "The tree of life" which is said to have a constant illumination which simmers and heightens with time.

There are a lot of believes not only in India but in Tibet too. In Buddhist texts it is called Shambhala, meaning source of happiness. A place that balances humanity and spirituality in today's world of war. It is said that the 25th Ruler of this Kingdom will restore magnanimity and take the world to a better place.

A lot of people went searching for it and only two asserted to have reached there. Guru Sai Kaka, a spiritual leader claimed to have visited the place a couple of times in search of spiritual and immortal teachings. He also mentioned a sage present there to guide the way. Second visitor has been L.P. Farrel, an English army officer, who affirmed to have experienced Gyanganj in 1942. Both of them mentioned that the kingdom exists on an entirely different plane or a higher dimension.

Mythologies mention the presence of the kingdom and it's immortal beings are to guide the world towards a better tomorrow and when this planet will end all at once, there would be a new beginning and the sages will be there to guide the men to a fresh start away from all the trauma and war.

What are your thoughts on it? Do you believe any such kingdom to be present on the face of Earth?
